Group Achievements of BLACKPINK on Spotify
In September 2022, the quartet became the girl group in the world with the highest monthly listeners on Spotify history. That time, the band earned 29.56 million listeners just a few days before they released their new song ‘Shut Down.’
In October 2023, BLACKPINK became the first group worldwide to have all its members surpass 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify. This feat underscores the group's widespread appeal and the individual popularity of each member.
BLACKPINK also set impressive milestones in terms of the number of streams of their songs on Spotify. For instance, they became the first K-Pop girl group to surpass one billion streams on a single track, particularly ‘How You Like That.’ It reached the feat in March 2024, almost four years after its release in June 2020.
In 2022, they became the girl group with the highest weekly debut streams on Spotify. Their track ‘Pink Venom’ accumulated 41 million streams in its first week. Besides that, it was the fastest girl group song to hit 100 million and 200 million streams in history, achieving this in only 17 days and 59 days, respectively.
Furthermore, the quartet became the first female group of all time to have all tracks in a single album (“THE ALBUM”) to surpass 100 million streams.

In November 2023, Jennie's ‘SOLO’ became the first debut song by a female K-Pop soloist to garner 600 million streams.
One of her latest releases, ‘Mantra,’ gained over five million streams on its debut day. This marks the singer's biggest streaming debut to date. Moreover, the song managed to accumulate 559,620 streams in the United States. This makes Jennie the female K-Pop soloist with the highest streaming debut in the country yet.
Another new song by the BLACKPINK member is ‘Like JENNIE,’ which has become the fastest 2025 song by an Asian artist to hit 100 million streams. It attained the feat in only 24 days.

After making her solo debut in September 2021, BLACKPINK member Lisa has achieved numerous feats with her songs on Spotify.
One of her solo debut tracks, ‘MONEY,’ gained 100 million streams just 37 days after its release. For that reason, it set a record for the shortest time for a K-Pop soloist to reach the milestone. ‘MONEY’ later crossed 500 million streams just 10 months after its release. Therefore, it became the fastest K-Pop song ever to do so.
That's not all, ‘MONEY’ even earned the title of the first track by a K-Pop soloist to amass one billion streams in history.
In 2024, more songs of BLACKPINK member Lisa broke records on Spotify. For instance, last July, ‘ROCKSTAR’ became the fastest song by a female K-Pop soloist to exceed 100 million streams, in a mere 23 days. The following month, it became the fastest to hit 200 million streams, doing so in just 61 days.
As of March 2025, ‘ROCKSTAR’ reached 900 million streams. It is the fastest and only solo song released in 2024 by a female K-Pop soloist to hit the mark. It also holds the record for the first song by a female K-Pop soloist to have over six million streams on Spotify on its debut day.

BLACKPINK’s Rosé's solo projects have also garnered significant attention, contributing to her substantial monthly listener count. Her solo debut song ‘On The Ground’ became the fastest song by a Korean female soloist to reach 100 million streams, doing so in just 71 days.
Meanwhile, ‘APT.’ became the fastest K-Pop Song to reach one billion streams. It took 100 days to achieve it. It's also the second-fastest song worldwide to do so, following ‘Die With A Smile’ by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga (96 days).

Finally, JiSoo proved her popularity through her solo achievements on Spotify. In March 2023, her solo debut song ‘FLOWER’ racked up 4.6 million filtered streams just 24 hours after its release. With this, ‘FLOWER’ set a new record for the biggest first-day streams for any song by a female K-Pop solo act in the history of the platform.
Apart from that, ‘FLOWER’ reached 100 million streams in just 32 days. It broke Lisa’s record with ‘MONEY’ (37 days) for the fastest song by a female K-Pop soloist to hit the six-digit mark.
Last week, JiSoo’s new song ‘Earthquake’ exceeded 60 million streams on Spotify. It is the second most-streamed song by a K-Pop solo artist released in 2025, following ‘Like JENNIE’ by her fellow member.
