When people think about K-Dramas, their mind often wanders to heartwarming romantic comedies. The characters from these dramas form affectionate relationships that naturally make you yearn for a K-Drama love story of your own. However, among the current list of ongoing K-Dramas is "Good Partner" which has slowly been gaining traction since its premiere. The SBS drama is a far cry from the typical rom-coms we've become so accustomed to.
The show features an incredible cast in Jang NaRa, Nam JiHyun, Kim JunHan, and P.O. It brings audiences into a workplace setting of widely recognized law firm, Daejung. There, we follow newly hired Han YooRi (Nam JiHyun) as she's assigned to the divorce team and begins to work under star lawyer, Cha EunKyung (Jang NaRa). The two are complete opposites who share a history of having two separate stances. But in working together and over the course of various events, they learn to iron out their differences and work together, with their lives changing as a result.
While legal proceedings can be interesting, it's not everyone's cup of tea. However, with just 5 episodes under its belt, "Good Partner" has piqued the interest of the K-Drama community and shows potential to become one of the most highly rated shows of not only the summer, but of the year!
