Excluding Daegu residents, this study surveyed 2,000 visitors aged 15 and older across various tourist sites, employing a structured questionnaire and face-to-face interviews. The demographic analysis reveals a diverse visitor base with a balance between genders (46.9% male and 53.1% female). Age distribution spans across all groups, with notable representation from the 30s (21.1%), 20s (19.2%), and seniors aged 60 and above (19.6%), highlighting Daegu's appeal across generations.

Daegu attracts a significant proportion of loyal visitors, with 65.7% being repeat tourists. Interestingly, this marks a positive trend compared to previous years, where the percentage of first-time visitors increased from 12.9% in 2021 to 34.3% in 2023. Among repeat visitors, the average number of visits was 4.8 in the last three years, with 18.5% having visited more than ten times.
