In the drama, Baek SooJung (played by Moon KaYoung) and Ban JooYeon (played by Choi HyunWook) are successful in completing the Yongseong Department Store renewal project. They assumed into high-level positions: SooJung as the chief of the Strategic Planning Department and JooYeon as the new director of Yongseong Department Store.
One of the most important moments in the last episode was JooYeon's emotional confession to his grandmother, Jeong HyoSun (Ban HyoJung). Realizing her mistake, HyoSun apologizes to JooYeon, thereby resolving their conflict.
In the meantime, Seo HaJin (Lim SeMi) and Kim ShinWon (Kwak ShiYang), who previously broke up because of personal reasons, get back together as they admit that they still love one another.

The webtoon presents a bit of a different spin on the romance that blossoms between JooYeon and SooJung. SooJung treats JooYeon as a little brother after their breakup. However, after witnessing him with another girl, she gets confused about her feelings and kisses him out of nowhere, confessing her true feelings.
Then the two have to go wait because of JooYeon's mandatory military service. Although the drama ends with their career success, the webtoon skips six years ahead in time, and they meet again and marry, living happily ever after.

Though the general direction of the narrative is identical, there are significant differences in the details between characters.
In the K-Drama and webtoon, SooJung and JooYeon get to know each other through a computer game. When they finally meet face-to- face, SooJung is disappointed that JooYeon is not the older brother figure she had hoped for. After several years, they met again and dated without knowing that they had met before. Later, they break up, but they find a way back to each other at the end.
