Korean people associate several layers of meaning with food. It is the only country where "have you eaten?" is just as common of a greeting as hello, if not more. Koreans will love you if you know how to eat Korean food in the correct way. For instance, if you can take a bite of lettuce wrap in one mouthful, if you pair kimchi with roasted sweet potatoes just like a Korean would, or if you know how to eat Kimchi Noodles properly, they're going to love you.
