BTS's Suga is ready to officially return from his mandatory military service, joining the rest of the members after two years. Jin and j-hope completed their military service in 2024. RM and V joined them on June 10 and JungKook and JiMin on the next day.

Once all the members reunite, the biggest question is going to be about their full group comeback. As per The Korea Herald, the tentative date for their comeback is in March 2026 and ARMYs are patient. But patience and anticipation can go hand in hand, especially when the speculations sound like “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life” (화양연화, Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa).

In a recent interview with the Korean TV show “Omniscient Interfering View,” j-hope fueled the anticipation by sharing the plans for a new album and world tour.

“We’re trying to make a comeback as soon as possible,” he said, adding that it's one of the many things they will discuss upon reunion.

Will BTS Revisit ‘Most Beautiful Moment In Life’ For Their Group Comeback?

That's more than enough to get the global music community abuzz about BTS’ full group comeback. One particular possibility that keeps appearing is a revisit to their iconic "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life" (HYYH) series. The group's management, HYBE Labels, has partly confirmed these speculations.

Bang SiHyuk ("Hitman" Bang) revealed a special HYYH 10th-anniversary project in an October 2023 Bloomberg interview. He called it very important and noted it was a promise made early in their careers. However, there is more to this special BTS comeback than meets the eye. Here's why!

What “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life” (HYYH Era) Means to BTS and ARMYs

"The Most Beautiful Moment in Life" trilogy is an era marking the biggest turning point in BTS' artistic journey. It was released between 2015 and 2016 and marked their transition from a relatively popular K-Pop idol group to an international stars. This era also depicted a crucial time of their individual journeys as late teens and 20-somethings striving for their dreams.

As many fans know, BTS often adds a layer of their experiences into their craft, and this truly shine through during the HYYH era. The trilogy went to the core of youth, growth, and the bittersweet beginnings of adulthood that resonated deeply with fans worldwide.

Additionally, this era launched the BTS Universe (BU), an elaborate storyline told through music videos and supplementary materials that fans have pieced together for nearly a decade. The official 'BTS Universe' name wasn't established until 2017, but its foundations were clearly laid during the HYYH period. Some fans believe that the BTS Universe was discontinued in 2020, as none of the releases since exclusively referenced the BU.

The ARMYs, who have consistently connected new releases to HYYH themes, felt the members had outgrown their characters in the storyline. This allowed them to explore a wider range of topics that are outside of BU. However, many believe that after building the BTS Universe in music, webtoons, a K-Drama, and much more, a conclusion remains.

Therefore, with all members completing military service by June 2025 and the HYYH anniversary falling in April-May 2025, the scheduling works perfectly for a celebratory return.
