Web variety programs have multiplied in tremendous fashion, becoming one of the most watched forms of content on the internet. And moving into an industry of web-based content, K-Pop idols are now taking the helm, becoming a beloved host for these shows and proving that they can entertain outside of a music show stage. Usually, these web programs only have one dedicated MC. But in some cases there are multiple people, more often than not from the same company, like NCT's HaeChan and DoYoung hosting "MUK2U".
However, there's a new web program set to premiere that has two worlds collide: "NOPOGY". Set to be uploaded onto the KBS Kpop YouTube channel, "NOPOGY" features top stars in MONSTA X's ShowNu and NCT's JungWoo. Through the program, the two idols will visit a number of old and traditional restaurants, highlighting the various charms and the delicacies they have to offer. Speaking to this, they decided to go with the name "NOPOGY" due to the wordplay on 노포 (Old restaurant) and "NO 포기" (no giving up).
Despite the amount of web variety programs out there, "NOPOGY" looks to deliver, becoming a must-watch for K-Pop enthusiasts worldwide.
