“Bogota: City of the Lost” is set during the Asian financial crisis in 1997. GookHee (Song JoongKi) moved to Bogota, Colombia, with his family in the hopes of finding a way to go to the United States.

Unfortunately, the GookHee family's money is stolen in a cab from the airport. To survive, GookHee worked under his father’s old friend, Sergeant Park JangSoo (Kwon HaeHyo). JangSoo holds power in the Korean Merchants' Association and runs a women's undergarment smuggling business.

GookHee met SooYeong (Lee HeeJoon) on smuggling work for JangSoo. One day, a problem arises when they are doing smuggling work. GookHee wants to impress Jangsoo, so he keeps a few underwear until the end even if it risks his life
