NewJeans recently held an emergency press conference amid the ongoing conflict with their company, ADOR. The group's five members—Kim MinJi, Danielle Marsh, Hanni Pham, Kang HaeRin, and Lee HyeIn—met several reporters at a location in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of Nov. 28.

Background of the Conflict Between NewJeans, ADOR, and HYBE
The feud started between HYBE and Min HeeJin, the former ADOR CEO. It goes back to April 22 when HYBE released an audit of ADOR and asked Min to step down from her position. In response, HeeJin asserted that HYBE plagiarized NewJeans for the rookie girl group ILLIT. She noted that this plagiarism issue is the main cause of her war against HYBE.
Three days later, HYBE claimed that they had confirmed that Min sought ways to diminish the company's authority and take full control of NewJeans and ADOR.
