The face of Korean cinema, Song KangHo debuting in his first-ever K-Drama in 35 years was reason enough for "Uncle Samsik" to be dubbed the most highly anticipated K-Drama of the year. Song KangHo is joined by Chungmuroโs young royal Byun YoHan and Hallyuโs darling Girls' Generation's Tiffany Young, alongside other talented veteran stars. However, all the hype surrounding "Uncle Samsik" seems to have simmered down soon after its premiere.
"Uncle Samsik" is currently streaming on Disney Plus and Hulu but has been unable to enter the top 10 most-viewed chart in either platform outside Asia.
