2. Shotaro and SungChan to stop promoting as a part of NCT

SM Entertainment released a statement noting that the idols will no longer be participating in the activities of NCT, however, they will be part of a new group which will make a debut sometime this year. They also noted that the new group which will be formed from NCT will be the last and will have majorly Japanese idols as its members.
