For those who might not know, "Chungmuro actors" is a prestigious title that is used to refer to the biggest movie stars in South Korea. There are a lot of criteria that make an actor a Chungmuro actor, which includes how many films they have under their belt, how many blockbusters they have delivered, how many awards they have won, and how much influence they have over the box office. Interestingly, not all Hallyu stars can be Chungmuro actors, and similarly, not all Chungmuro actors can be Hallyu stars.
