Netflix has been on a roll with Korean reality shows recently, and the latest to join the lineup is "Siren: Survive The Island", which has quickly become one of the most popular shows on Netflix Korea.
For those who might not know, "Siren: Survive The Island" is an outstanding ten-episode competition show created by Lee EunKyung PD that pitches six four-member teams, comprising women from different professions, against each other in a battle of physical strength, strategy, and teamwork - all on a remote island. The participating teams are Team Police, Team Firefighter, Team Guard, Team Stunt, Team Soldier and Team Athlete. Each Team is assigned a "base" that they must protect while trying to conquer other bases. The Team that is the fastest to occupy all the bases wins.

The competition proceeds through "Base Battles" and "Arena Battles", where the aim of the former is to steal your opponent's group flag and occupy their base, and that of the latter is to gain benefits that will later help in the Base Battle.
