“Shadow Beauty” is a drama depicting the dangerous double life of a high school girl, Koo AeJin, who is bullied at school but lives as gorgeous star "Genie" on social media.
The drama is based on the webtoon of the same name written by AHUM.
The leads in the drama are Shim DalGi, Golden Child’s Choi BoMin, and PENTAGON's HongSeok.
Shim DalGi has appeared in the dramas “The School Nurse Files”, “Hospital Playlist”, and “Save Me 2.”
Choi BoMin gained positive reactions from fans with his appearances in the dramas “A-Teen 2" and “18 Again." He has also appeared in the dramas “Crash! Insignificant Roommates” and “Melting Me Softly."
HongSeok most recently starred in the web drama “Blue Birthday” alongside Red Velvet’s YeRi. He has also acted in the dramas “Move To Heaven”, “Phoenix 2020”, “Anniversary, Anyway”, and “Best Chicken.”
fromis_9’s Lee NaGyung (“Welcome To Heal Inn”), and rookie actresses Heo JeongHee and Baek JiHye, will also be starring in this drama.
