SEVENTEEN Comes Back With Special Album, "; [Semicolon]", An Ode To Youth

 came back in four months since their last release with a special album "; [Semicolon]" (title track, "HOME;RUN”) and held their online media showcase on Oct. 19th, 2020.

Even before its release, the album had hit many people’s hearts as "[; Semicolon" recorded a phenomenal number of pre-orders, and is on the verge of achieving a double million-seller.

“I couldn’t believe it. I realized that we are truly loved by CARAT from all over the world and we’ve made this album to return the love we received from CARAT. We hope the message that contains in this album gets well delivered to them.”

SEVENTEEN's special album "; [Semicolon]" contains a positive message to the youth saying, "Let's rest for a moment and enjoy the feast of youth."

The album, "; [Semicolon]" contains 6 tracks which include, ‘Do Re Mi,’ HEY BUDDY,’ ‘Light a Flame,’ ‘AH! LOVE,’ ‘All My Love,’ and the title track ‘HOME;RUN,’ that is filled with SEVENTEEN's own retro vibe.

“As the increasing number of our member’s participation in the album, we were able to deeply think about what SEVENTEEN can truly sing? If our previous album. “HENG:GARAE” was more energetic, we wanted to show more empathy and provide comfort for the listeners.”

The first track "HOME;RUN" features a swing genre-based retro sound, mixed with a cheerful, striking sound. WooZi participated in composing and lyrics, while Vernon and SeungKwan were also credited as the lyricists and have melted a more sympathetic and realistic image of youth to the song.

In particular, the album drew attention as it contains a variety of mixed-unit songs in addition to the group's title songs ‘HOME;RUN’ and ‘All My Love.’ The formation of different units, including ,  and 's "Do Re Mi," , and 's "HEY BUDDY," , , and Woozi's "Light a Flame," and , and 's "AH! LOVE," is expected to please listeners' ears.
