When thinking about 2024's K-Drama scene so far, it has been filled with undeniable hit series, earning accolades and recognition from audiences across the globe. Even with these, the industry doesn't rest and continues to produce countless new shows, incorporating proven tropes and new scenarios to capture viewers' attention. And to kick off August, as well as the last weeks of summer, "Romance In The House" has made its impressive premiere. It features a star-studded cast in Ji JinHee, Kim JiSoo, Son NaEun, SHINee's MinHo, and ASTRO's Yoon SanHa.
The JTBC series tells the story of the family of Byun MooJin (Ji JinHee), Geum AeYeon (Kim JiSoo), Byun MiRae (Son NaEun), and Byun HyunJae (Yoon SanHa). After years of divorce, Byun MooJin suddenly reappears as his family's landlord. While he tries to chalk it up to mere coincidence, it doesn't take long for him to reveal his true motive: to make Geum AeYeon fall back in love with him. However, Byun MiRae is completely opposed to this idea and makes every attempt possible to prevent them from reuniting.
A mixture of comedy, melodrama, and romance, "Romance In The House" is off to a swimmingly good start, ready to ride on the waves of success and become a hit series.
