In the last couple of years, as K-Pop fully embarks on its Hallyu wave, there has been a cross-over between K-Pop idols and Western artists. This collaboration often features original songs or remixes but regardless of the format, they usually gain a ton of appreciation from global fans, especially fans of both parties, with many calling for more collaborations between their favorite western artist and idol.
And it seems this call or request has duly met the right ears, as today, more and more idols and groups are collaborating with more Western artists, releasing impressive music, some of which end up topping music charts, creating iconic moments, and no doubt, spurring the interest in more collaborations and features between K-Pop idols and western artists.
