One Cool Jacso's pre-debut group, OCJ Newbies, shot with 4 big global magazines, ELLE MEN Hong Kong, Cosmopolitan Hong Kong, Harper Bazaar Hong Kong, and Men's Uno Hong Kong, making them one of the only groups who appeared this much in global magazines before their official debut.
OCJ Newbies was revealed to the public earlier this year when their agency opened their official SNS accounts. On July 19 of this year, 13 members were first revealed. On the 2nd unveiling of members, 6 more members were added to the OCJ Newbies' diverse line-up. The revealed members were said to be from Korea, China, Hong Kong, and Indonesia, making him the first ever male idol from the said country.
Some of the members are already familiar to the public. Members DongBin and HyunSik both participated in the idol survival program "Produce X 101". Other members also appeared in other idol survival shows like "Loud", "World Klass", "We Are Young", and "Stars Awakening".
