The 29th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) is overcoming last year's difficulties and welcoming film fans once again. Park KwangSoo, chairman of BIFF, stated at a press conference held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the 3rd, "We will recover what we lost due to last year's internal conflicts." This press conference was held face-to-face for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, attended by Park KwangSoo, interim executive director Park DoShin, and Kim YoungDeok, chairman of the Asian Contents & Film Market.
Chairman Park expressed, "Despite last year's significant internal conflicts, we were able to conclude successfully with the help of many filmmakers," and emphasized, "This year, we will look into the entire festival and proceed accordingly.
