On July 2nd, a press conference was held at the MBC headquarters in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, for the upcoming short drama 'I Don't Like Donkatsu' (written by Noh Ye-ri, directed by Kim Young-jae). 'I Don't Like Donkatsu' is a comedy that revolves around the castration surgery of a dog named Baekgu in Onghwa Village and how the village chief, Jeong Ja-wang, finds himself in a similar predicament after a vasectomy. The drama won the top prize in the short drama category at the 2023 MBC Drama Script Contest.
