LAist Studios, LAist's podcast producing arm, recently announced that they will be premiering "K-Pop Dreaming", a new podcast series that will cover the rise and history of K-Pop in the United States. The podcast will be told from the perspective of the Korean diaspora in Los Angeles.
Vivian Yoon, a Korean American writer-performer from Koreatown, Los Angeles will be hosting the podcast. As a writer, Vivian Yoon's works would include various animated shows for Netflix, Amazon, and Verizon Media. Her original dramedy series was recently in between a bidding war between 2 major production studios
