KBS / "Imitation" Webtoon
"Imitation" is a drama that will interest a lot of K-Pop fans. It is adapted from a popular webtoon in Korea and across the globe (check the lineup of webtoons to be adapted into drama in 2021 here).
Jung JiSo, ATEEZ's YunHo, SeongHwa, JongHo, and San, SF9's Chani and HwiYoung, U-KISS's Jun, T-ARA's JiYeon, ex-PRISTIN's Lim NaYoung, Park Yuri, Ahn JungHoon, MinSeo, Boys' Republic's SuWoong, g.o.d's Danny Ahn and Shim EunJin are the cast of this drama.
Actress Jung JiSo is known for her acting in the movie "Parasite", she also acted in the dramas "W" and "The Cursed". U-KISS's Jun or Lee JunYoung has plenty of acting experience with "Goodbye to Goodbye", "Class of Lies" and "Good Casting".
T-ARA's JiYeon has acted in dramas such as "Dream High 2" and "I Wanna Hear Your Song". ATEEZ's YunHo is debuting in acting with this drama. SF9's Chani is known for his solid acting skills. He acted in the popular dramas "Signal" and "SKY Castle".
The rest of the cast is composed of idols and singers of different generations with the exception of rookie actor Ahn JungHoon (also written Ahn JungHun).
The story is centered on solo artist La LiMa and three groups Tea Party (Jung MiSo, MinSeo, Lim NaYoung), SHAX (Jun, JongHo, HwiYoung, Park YuRi, Ahn JungHoon, and Chani as a former member), and SPARKLING (YunHo, SuWoong, SeongHwa, San).
Director Han HyunHee ("Solomon's Perjury", "Rookie Historian Goo HaeRyung") is in charge.
Tea Party with the song 'Show Me' and SHAX with the song 'MALO' (coming on May 7) perform on "Music Bank".
