In an unprecedented feat, the K-pop girl group ILLIT has shattered the first-week sales record for a debut album in the K-pop industry. According to Hanteo Chart, a well-known album sales tracking site, ILLIT's first mini-album 'SUPER REAL ME,' released on March 25th, sold an astounding 380,560 copies in its first week (March 25-31). This not only surpasses the previous record for K-pop girl group debut album sales, which stood at approximately 310,000 copies but also secures ILLIT a spot in the top 5 all-time highest first-week sales for K-pop debut albums across both male and female groups.
