The current lineup of K-Dramas has effectively taken over everyone's watchlist. What makes this roster even better is the array of genres each show represents. There's touching slice-of-life "When Life Gives You Tangerines", lighthearted romantic comedy "My Dearest Nemesis", and blood-pumping thriller, "Buried Hearts". "Buried Hearts" in particular has been a pleasant surprise to K-Drama fans as there's less emphasis on romance and more focus on revenge and corrupt politics. It features a star-studded cast in Park HyungSik, Huh JunHo, Lee HaeYoung, and Hong HwaYeon.

Cresting over its halfway point, "Buried Hearts" is rich with numerous twists and turns. Through the SBS drama, Park HyungSik portrays Seo DongJu and displays what happens when a man is betrayed and his most precious person is taken away from him. It's a complete dogfight as both sides take turns barring their fangs, ready to pounce at a moment's notice. With every episode, you can feel the characters' overflowing jealousy, resentment, as well as hope, pouring out from the screen.

Although the entire cast are having standout performances, Park HyungSik certainly shines for more reasons than one. Making a quick comeback, he shows that he's ready to captivate millions with his acting prowess.
