In 2023, only 193,657 couples tied the knot, marking a 40% decrease from a decade ago. While South Korea's marriage statistics of the past few years have relatively declined, their choices in entertainment tell a different story. Popular K-Drama Marriages: Beyond Traditional Bounds

Last year's hit dramas like "Queen of Tears," “The Trunk,” “No Gain No Love,” and "When the Phone Rings" best reflect this shifting attitude toward marriage. All of these dramas received the audience's praise. "Queen of Tears" achieved a remarkable 24.9% viewership rating, surpassing even the legendary "Crash Landing on You." However, none of these K-Drama marriages took the traditional route of reflect
