Following GOT7’s departure from JYP Entertainment in 2021, the members pursued solo careers under different companies while remaining as a group. BamBam, in particular, signed with ABYSS Company and has since been releasing solo albums, embarking on solo tours, holding fan meetings, and engaging in other activities as a soloist.

In the past few years, BamBam has shown different sides of himself through music. He took on a vibrant concept for “riBBon” and a mix of bright and dark themes for “B” and “Sour & Sweet.” Moreover, his previous albums have conveyed different messages to show who he is and what his world looks like.

Recently, the GOT7 rapper is back with his third mini album, “BAMESIS”. Released on Aug. 8, his new release consists of five songs, including two title tracks, ' Last Parade’ and ‘Thank You Come Again’. This marks his first comeback in over a year since dropping “Sour & Sweet” in March last year.

“BAMESIS” successfully topped the iTunes Worldwide Album Charts in 20 countries immediately after it became available online. It was particularly popular in Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Brazil, among other countries.

Meanwhile, one of the album’s title songs, ‘Last Parade,’ ranked first on the iTunes Song Charts in 17 countries, including Sweden, Cambodia, Ecuador, Qatar, and more. 'Thank You Come Again' and 'Mi Último Deseo' also succeeded in entering the charts.

Furthermore, in BamBam’s hometown, Thailand, all five songs from “BAMESIS” ranked 1st to 5th on the music chart.
