The second season of "His Man" has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions as each moment has us on the edge of our seats, watching with sheer interest and anticipation to see who would become a couple by the end of the show. Confusion and tension fill the air as the housemates try to decipher their true feelings for each other.
In the first few episodes, like perhaps many global fans, we found ourselves concluding or at least having an idea of who would probably be dating or find "His Man" by the show's end. If the last two episodes gave us anything, it served as a shocker as new revelations from the housemates left us feeling even more confused and distressed than they were. But the shocking new twist wasn't the only interesting thing the show had to offer, as right from its first episode, it has never failed to not deliver moments that made our hearts flutter and cheeks turn up into a bright smile as we silently say to ourselves "Oh! I want what they have!"
Here are some of the key moments we enjoyed in the last two episodes of the show.
1. "Fondling"
SungHo and JunSeong may not yet be an official couple as of the latest episode (fingers crossed they will and our ship will set sail) but they continue to serve old married couple vibes. Their chemistry feels so natural and their interactions, even in the simplest form feel like the most heartwarming and wholesome moment in the show.
2. You can cut the tension with a knife!

Who doesn't love a good love triangle situation? That's literally a key trope in every good rom-com K-Drama. And if we can put this show into a genre, it is definitely a rom-com with a mix of thriller? They might say it is not but the lines are clearly forming between SeonWoo, SungHo, and JunSeong, and amidst the budding affection they both share for SungHo, SeonWoo and JunSeong clearly have some tension between them. These scenes made our hearts race as the suspense was just killing us! Love how they were both respectful while sharing their feelings though. It was a very honest conversation between the two of them and even though we held our pillows tightly as we watched on, we look forward to more of this kind of open and honest conversation from the members. P.S. We believe that SeonWoo has feelings for JunSeong and is just waiting for a green light from him. Do you think so too?
3. Is the MinSung and HyeongJoon ship finally taking off?
By episode 6, It seems the two-bed roommates are the ones feeling the most romantic blues, and MinSung and HyeongJoon may finally be ready to delve into their connection. But it's been quite baffling that it's taking them this long as in the entire house, they are clearly the only ones interested in each other. They matched during the 2nd call and HyeongJoon called MinSung again during the third call but the latter didn't call the former. It's understandable if because of that, HyeongJoon may be a bit reluctant, casting doubt on the thoughtful actions of MinSung in the process, but we need a solid and confirmed couple in the house, and from our POV, it is them.
In episode 7, SeonWoo puts on his love counselor hat and clarifies the misunderstanding HyeongJoon had about his relationship with MinSung. We saw HyeongJoon become more friendly with MinSung afterwards so, hopefully, this ship sails off soonest!
4. SeonWoo gets candid about his feelings
First, we would say we love the camaraderie between MinSung and SeonWoo, the way they confide in each other is quite nice to see. In this scene, it seems SeonWoo comes clear about the thoughts in his mind and his true feelings for SeongHo. Loosely put, he sees it as more of a curiosity than a true connection that could lead to a relationship. This revelation came as a shock especially seeing that they had both spent a great time together and he already expressed his feeling towards SungHo to JunSeong.
Perhaps it's the conversation between him and JunSeong that sort of sways his thought in this direction as he perhaps doesn't want the stress of being in the love triangle with a chance of not being chosen at the end, and in that circumstance, there is also a fear of missing out on a connection with someone else that would've been more fulfilling. Or perhaps he sees it, even more than SungHo, that the connection between him and JunSeong is quite clear and he is about to be the Cupid that brings them together. Either way, while we understand his conflicting situation, it is still a shock that he seemingly classified his connection or interest in SungHo as an act of curiosity which in our opinion sought of dampens the value one would place on their connection going forward.
5. "What did you mean by selfish"

One of the things we find very enjoyable and somewhat wholesome about this series is how open and honest the conversations are between the housemates, especially those with some kind of connection. This conversation had us holding our breaths as even the air felt like a distraction and we didn't want to miss a single detail from the message shared here. Yet again, the chemistry between these two is quite clear and while we want them to be a ship already, we understand SungHo and how complicated his feelings are at the moment. And a nod of appreciation goes to JunSeong for being thoughtful and respectful towards SungHo.
