In 2020, numerous webtoons had been announced to be adapted into dramas, some aired while some have yet to release their production schedule. The fantasy romance webtoon "The Remarried Empress" (in Korean "재혼 황후") by Alphatart and Sumpul was announced to be adapted into a drama but have yet to a production schedule and cast.
"The Remarried Empress" tells the romance of the perfect empress of the Eastern Empire named Navier. The Emperor was not planning to keep her as an Empress anymore so she decides to choose to divorce him and to be an Empress elsewhere. Before becoming a webtoon, the drama was a web novel by RoPhan. The drama will be produced in collaboration with the production company Studio N. But no more information was released yet.
Fans of the webtoon are waiting for the announcement of the cast and are already thinking of which actors and actresses the drama should be composed of.
