Funny, smart, witty, entertaining, and with the undertone of some of the realities faced by many K-Pop idols today, ASTRO's Rocky showcase his budding acting skills in the new drama "Broke Rookie Star". In the series, he plays the character of HwiYeon, an unknown rookie idol who despite the rising popularity of his group, has to fend for himself by doing any job to make ends meet. These struggles can be seen as a behind-the-scenes peek into the real lives of so many K-Pop idols who despite how popular their groups are, might still be facing similar financial situations.
