Exclusive Review: Hwang InYoup Fanmeeting In Singapore

Hwang InYoup, who shot to fame in the hit drama "True Beauty" as Han SeoJun, held his first fanmeeting in Singapore at Capitol Theatre.

With fans chanting his name, Hwang InYoup started off the event singing ‘It Starts Today’, the OST from "True Beauty".

Kicking off with the 1st segment, it was quiz time. He was eager to meet his fans and told them how much fun they would have would depend on their interactions and cheers.

The actor also revealed that the day before the event, he had tried Chili Crab, a must-have to eat in Singapore, and asked fans what he should eat after the fanmeeting. Fans suggested local food such as chicken rice, roti prata, and satay.

As Singapore’s birthday is round the corner, the next segment tested him about Singapore. If he got 4 of them right, he would be presented with a treat. If he got 5 of them right, he would be able to give 5 lucky fans a polaroid of himself.

Among the questions, one was about the lower part of the Merlion. Hwang InYoup revealed that he had seen the Merlion statue the previous day when he took a walk along the river, so he had no problems answering this question correctly.

With all 5 questions answered correctly, the MC decided to add in a bonus question.
