Rarely in K-Pop circles do fans hear affordable and concert ticket in a single sentence, but Bang YongGuk delivered exactly that with his recent concert at Big Night Live in Boston, Mass. on Saturday, June 3rd. With general admission tickets being sold for roughly the cost of a sit down meal at the attached restaurant, MyMusicTaste was able to deliver a powerful, but short, show during the rainy evening.
As the former leader of the second generation boy group B.A.P, YongGuk is also well known for his litany of solo songs and documentaries. Debuting back in 2011 with the single 'I Remember', he received critical acclaim during the past 12 years. After he completed his military service in 2021, he created his own one-man agency to support his future creative efforts.
His strength as a lyricist shone through his set, especially poignant with 'Hikikomori' which comes from his own story of anxiety.
