Much to the surprise of U.S.-based K-Pop fans, DREAMCATCHER returned to New York City for its third stop of their "REASON : MAKES" tour after being away for just eight months. As the unabashed queens of the K-Pop/K-Rock sound, DREAMCATCHER showed off why its fans come back time and time again.

Despite only have two days of lead time between the tour announcement and tickets going on sale, the group’s fans were able to fill the floor and first level of the Theatre at Madison Square Garden with relative ease. It was a much-needed upgrade over the Palladium, a general admission venue where the group performed last year.

Faithful InSomnia (the group’s fandom name) were instantly rewarded as the group pulled out older songs from its discography, starting with their 2017 debut single 'Chase Me' before performing the duo of 2019 releases of 'You and I' and 'What'. Prior to performing 'What', the group teased the audience to sing along to its catchy chorus, ending with "Break up, break up, my dream."

DREAMCATCHER then continued to tick off any long time InSomnia’s checklist by performing a trio of older guitar-driven songs with 'Scream', 'The Curse of the Spider' and 'Diamond'. After slowing it down with a sultry performance of 'And There Was No One Left', the group pulled out chairs and performed the ballads 'Emotion' and 'Polaris'. In yet another callback, the group’s leader JiU directed the crowd to wave and lift their lightsticks in unison during 'Polaris', using the same motions performed during their 2019 U.S. tour.

After teasing the crowd with yet another older song 'Good Night', DREAMCATCHER ended performing songs from their latest album "Apocalypse: Follow Us". With 'Some Love', the group preached self-acceptance. "Never stop, never stop being yourself," main vocalist SiYeon and main dancer SuA sang, while vocalists YooHyeon and HanDong completed with "We all need some love." In fan-favorite 'Fairytale', maknae GaHyeon asked InSomnia to "Hold on to me as we go fly," while rapper DaMi dared the crowd to "Remember every moment, including this flutter."

Every InSomnia in the crowd took those words to heart, screaming/singing along with every note of 'Sahara' and 'Wind Blows'. The animated graphics behind the group were on point, flashing the English words of each song in large, flashing bold font to lead the crowd in a call and response in line with their synched lightsticks.

The group loved to play with the crowd, often leading the theatre in chants of "New York" before playfully splitting into a young versus old chant of "Somnia."

DREAMCATCHER showed powerful and clean movements while performing 'Vision' and 'Boca', displaying various levels and separated formations that worked the whole stage before breaking down into the EDM-focused 'Silent Night'. The group then finished its main set with fan service versions of 'Mayday' and 'New Days'.

After changing into their tour merch backstage, DREAMCATCHER returned to perform 'Full Moon' and 'Over The Sky' before making their final goodbyes and their anniversary song 'Reason'. "We’re always with InSomnia," the song’s lyrics read. "We can spend more time together…. ‘cause you are the reason."

DREAMCATCHER continued its US tour after this stop, with performances in Reading, Chicago, Denver Irving, Oakland and finishing in Los Angeles.

Kpopmap received a photo and review ticket from MyMusicTaste, the promoters of DREAMCATCHER’s "Reason : Makes" tour. It did not influence the coverage of this concert.
