The roster of 2023 webtoon-based K-Dramas keeps getting bigger and better! Besides the 45+ confirmed productions and 28+ announced projects, a brand new addition is rocking the internet. The critically acclaimed and highly popular thriller webtoon "Perfect Family" by N.B & JUNE is getting a K-Drama adaptation helmed by award-winning director Isao Yukisada. It is set to be released on an OTT platform.
For those who might not know, "Perfect Family" is a psychological thriller manhwa about a young school girl who suddenly confesses that she has killed her classmate Park KyungHo. However, her mother's reaction to this horrific news is more than strange. What matters to her the most is maintaining the image of a "perfect family", so she will do what it takes to keep it pristine.
At the time of writing, actress Park JuHyun has been confirmed for the leading role of Choi SeonHee alongside Yoon SeAh, who will play the role of SeonHee's mother, Ha EunJoo, and Kim ByungChul, who will play her father, Choi JinHyuk. This casting news is making waves among fans as it will mark the screen reunion of "SKY Castle" co-stars Yoon SeAh and Kim ByungChul as a married couple.
