A - Adaptations
The K-Drama industry has been upping its game with adaptations, and 2023 has been no exception. From highly-anticipated webtoon adaptations like "A Good Day To Be A Dog", the extremely successful "Black Knight" and many more, to Disney+ reportedly offering a "first-lookโ contract to "Moving" author Kang Full, webtoons are gearing up to be an even more valuable and sought after source material.
At the same time, 2023 also gave us several novel-based K-Dramas such as "Lies Hidden In My Garden" (based on the novel of the same name by Kim JinYoung), "The Kidnapping Day" (based on the novel of the same name by Jung HaeYeon) and "Our Blooming Youth" (based on the Chinese novel "The Golden Hairpin" by Qinghan CeCe).
