NewJeans recently held an emergency press conference amid the ongoing conflict with their company, ADOR. The group's five members—Kim MinJi, Danielle Marsh, Hanni Pham, Kang HaeRin, and Lee HyeIn—met several reporters at a location in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of Nov. 28.

In response, HeeJin asserted that HYBE plagiarized NewJeans for the rookie girl group ILLIT. She noted that this plagiarism issue is the main cause of her war against HYBE.
