In the past several years, Netflix has gone all in into the market of Korean entertainment. They've produced world-renowned reality shows, thrilling K-Dramas, and immersive films that viewers can't help but love. Right beside them, however, is EoHeung (Oh JungSe), the man JaeMi was supposed to marry. A story of lost relationships, family, and rediscovery, in between the many scenes of laughter are heartfelt musings that pulls viewers along right until the end.
With the casting, story, and Netflix's catalogue of successful K-Dramas, there was ample buzz heading into premiere weekend. Now, the question needs to be asked: did "Mr. Plankton" exceed expectations and should you add it to your watchlist?
