Having previously made it onto the Netflix Global Top TV (Non-English), "Frankly Speaking" is proving to be a worthwhile K-Drama that leaves audiences in a frenzy, recovering from a whirlwind of laughter. Among the many thrillers that have premiered in 2024 alone, the JTBC series is a nice change of pace that hits on everyone's funny bone. Led by Go KyungPyo, Kang HanNa, and Joo JungHyuk, "Frankly Speaking" is the perfect show to bring us over the middle hump of the work week.

It follows the life of Song KiBaek (Go KyungPyo) who has built up the perfect image and hopes to one day become the main news announcer for the broadcasting station. He meets the enthusiastic and ecstatic variety show writer On WooJoo (Kang HanNa) whoโ€™s able to cast him to her variety program. After an incident with WooJoo, KiBaek speaks whatever is on his mind, leading to his biggest crisis yet.
