JTBC

Have you seen the iconic K-Drama "When the Camellia Blooms"? Did you know that the director of that drama is the same director who directed "Welcome to Samdal-ri"? If you look at both dramas, they have a healing theme as they both take place in the beautiful countryside of Korea.

"Welcome to Samdal-ri" stars Ji ChangWook and Shin HaeSun and tells the story of childhood best friends Jo YongPil and Jo SamDal who were born and raised in Samdal-ri. However, they slowly drift apart as adults, only to be reunited later.

The drama is already being praised for its picturesque cinematography. This is partly thanks to the fact that it was entirely filmed on the beautiful and tranquil Jeju Island.
