CJ ENM has unveiled the nominations for the "2023 MAMA Awards." The much-anticipated K-Pop extravaganza is set to dazzle fans on November 28 and 29, with Tokyo Dome in Japan as the grand stage. The excitement will be beamed live to audiences worldwide through various global platforms, including Mnet, CJ ENM's music channel.
To qualify for consideration, albums and songs must have been released between October 22, 2022, and September 30, 2023. The evaluation of these works and the artists is based on a comprehensive analysis of global music data and the input of a panel of experts.
In the category of Worldwide Fansโ Choice, the winners will be decided by the votes of global fans. The first round of nomination votes is scheduled from October 19 to October 30, followed by the second round from November 6 to November 20. Fans can cast their votes on the K-Culture platform Mnet Plus and the popular audio streaming service Spotify, which is also a sponsor of the "2023 MAMA Awards."
In a bid to ensure transparency and fairness in the voting process and results, the vote count and procedure will be verified by Samil PwC, mirroring the procedure used in the previous year.
