2023 has seen an influx of survival programs, paving the way for a brand new generation of K-Pop idol groups to step into the limelight. JTBC's "R U Next?" has recently joined this list, premiering on June 30, 2023. In partnership with HYBE and JTBC, the survival program looks to produce the next big girl group, set to debut under BELIFT Lab. The show is hosted by Girls' Generation's SooYoung, with KARA's Park GyuRi, Lee Hyun, 2am's Jo Kwon, Kim JaeHwan, and choreographer Aiki acting as judges.
Although already three episodes in, the contestants still have a lot left to show to win the hearts of netizens everywhere.
