The K-Pop industry is known for its high production value and entertainment quality. Behind the scenes of the K-Content that we consume are a number of professionals in the production crew who make it all possible. One such industry legend whom we got to interview is Producer Lee EungGu, also known as Lee EungGu PD (read as Lee Eung-Gu PD).

Lee EungGu PD is a Korean music show and idol reality show producer who is renowned among professionals in the Korean industry. He is currently the CEO of his own company called Sole 9 Media and is the previous Chief Producer of CJ E&M (Mnet). Some of his hit productions include shows like "M Countdown", "HIT THE STAGE", and more.
Most recently, he is the mastermind behind the Filipino-South Korean survival show "Dream Maker" which aired its last episode on Feb. 12, giving way to the boy group HORI7ON.
Kpopmap had the honor of conducting an interview with the industry icon Lee EungGu PD and asking him about his production philosophies, his journey as a star producer, his future production plans, and more.
