The shipping culture is really spread out in K-Pop fandoms. When two members interact a lot with each other and are super close, fans tend to ship them very easily. Ships often happen inside a single group, but it is not rare to see fans shipping members from different groups when they have a lot of moments together. Now if some idols aren't especially a fan of the concept, some others play along with the fans and give a ton of fan service.
