After a widely successful first season, "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" made its eagerly awaited premiere on December 10th. Much like its predecessor, the tvN drama immediately gained much love and attention from fans and critics alike. Many were overjoyed to see Jang Uk, played by the charming Lee JaeWook, and company make their return to the world of Daeho once again.
We also got to see Go YounJung reprise her role as Naksu and step in as the second season's female lead. Although many were sad to see Jung SoMin step away from the production, it didn't take very long for Go YounJung to prove that she's more than capable to take on the mantle of female lead. Her performance has been stellar so far as she brings Naksu to life before our very eyes.
