2023 K-Pop Predictions That Just Make Sense

From highly-anticipated debuts, comebacks, solo projects, and more to rookie groups rising to the top, we have great expectations from this year. Judging from the patterns that emerged last year, there are certain things that fans are particularly eager about in 2023.

With that said, here are 10 K-Pop predictions that just make sense!

1. BIGBANG G-Dragon's Solo Comeback

BIGBANG's leader G-Dragon welcomed the new year with a special announcement titled "G-DRAGON - GUERRILLA DESK : G_Division", where he greeted fans directly after a long time and promised to be back with good news this year. While nothing has been confirmed yet, it isn't really an exaggeration to assume that a G-Dragon album is in the making. In recent years, G-Dragon has been renowned for his influence in the fashion and art industry. If we do get a G-Dragon album in 2023, it will be his first solo music release since "Kwon Ji Yong" in 2017. We cannot wait for the King to return!

 

2. NCT DREAM Exploding In Popularity Worldwide

2022 has been an incredible year for NCT DREAM as the group explored a more mature yet on-brand sonic aesthetic, establishing them as a veritable force to be reckoned with in the 4th generation of K-Pop. Despite having debuted much earlier than the current generation, NCT DRE
