Fantasy K-Drama "Alchemy Of Souls" might have ended, but fans of the show don't need to feel too sad; it has already been announced that a second season will release in December of this year! That means more adventures in the land of Daeho alongside our favorite mages. Despite the good news, there is one piece of information about the new season that has caught everyone's attention: a new female lead.
Jung SoMin was marvelous in her portrayal of Moo DeokYi/Naksu. She showed the duality of the nation's fiercest assassin, trapped in a weak, frail body. But just because Jung SoMin will no longer be the female lead of the beloved drama doesn't mean fans should worry. That's due to the fact that none other than Go YounJung will become the new female lead.
Viewers might remember Go YounJung's cameo appearance in the beginning of the series as the original body of Naksu. She wowed many with her beauty, incredible sword skills, and impactful delivery. Now, YounJung is back and ready to amaze fans even further in the second season.
