There's a new K-Drama adaptation in town and it is none other than "Today's Webtoon"! Confirmed to star Kim SeJeong and Nam YoonSu in the leading roles, this drama is the Korean remake of the popular Japanese series "Sleepeeer Hit!", which in turn is adapted from the manga "Juhan Shuttai!" by Naoko Matsuda.

"Today's Webtoon" will tell the story of a former Judo athlete On MaEum (to be played by Kim SeJeong) who has to give up her dream because of an injury during a match. She gets a job in the editorial department of a webtoon publishing company and, through ups and downs, learns how to become a true webtoon editor.
On the other hand, the slice of life drama "Sleepeeer Hit!" also revolves around an aspiring Olympian who has to quit her sport, Judo, and work for a weekly manga magazine during a time of crisis when e-books are replacing physical books.
