The upcoming tvN K-Drama "Monstrous" has officially revealed the character posters for its leading stars Koo KyoHwan, Shin HyunBeen, Kim JiYoung, Kwak DongYeon, and Nam DaReum.
Koo KyoHwan plays Jung KiHoon, an archaeologist with a special interest in supernatural phenomena and Shin HyunBeen plays his ex-wife, Lee SooJin, a talented archaeologist and decipherment expert who suffers from the trauma of losing their only child. After a strange incident changed Jung KiHoon's life forever, he started publishing an occult magazine titled "Monthly Strange Story" and running a YouTube channel of the same name. After SooJin moves to Jinyang County, KiHoon follows and that's where they come face to face with mysterious happenings linked to a cursed Buddha statue.
In the newly released posters, the actors stand in a chiaroscuro of light and dark, indicating hidden aspects of their characters.
Actress Kim JiYoung plays Han SeokHee, police substation chief and resident of Jinyang County, Nam DaReum plays her son Han DoKyung and Kwak DongYeon plays Kwak YongJoo, the neighborhood troublemaker.
