There is a brand new webtoon-based drama in the works and it is none other than the popular youth romance "The Girl Downstairs" by SongAh Min. The drama adaptation has offered the leading role of Lee DuNa to Suzy and anyone would agree that it is a perfect fit. Not only will it signal Suzy's screen comeback but it will also be a new type of character for the actress. Lee DuNa is a little bit of a rebel and a tease but she is also soft-hearted and genuine. The mysterious charm of Lee DuNa is perfectly suited to Suzy. 

DuNa is a former idol who abruptly retires and decides to attend Minsong University's Department of Theater and Film. The male lead in the story is a college freshman named Lee Joon who studies nano-engineering at Minsong University. He isn't the biggest fan of girl groups but when DuNa moves into the same student housing as him, he cannot help but get curious about her, who seems vaguely familiar at best. Soon, he recognizes DuNa as the main vocalist of SWEET DREAM as he is reminded of the way his friend fanboyed over the idol. 

Just as the realization washes over him and he spurts it out with excitement, DuNa brings him down a notch by threatening him to keep the information to himself.
