This past weekend kicked off the 10-day long Joy Ruckus Club 4 festival. The Joy Ruckus Club 4 festival is an online concert series featuring a wide variety of musical artists of Asian descent. These artists came together to showcase their talents to viewers worldwide who could tune in to these performances from the comforts of their own homes.
The Joy Ruckus Club 4 festival kicked off with the all-star K-Pop Superfest lineup. It was a treat to listen to back-to-back performances from artists whose music ranged from Pop (like KAACHI and W24), soul (like Choi YeGeun), rap (like PH-1 and Sway D), and everything in between. I was only able to tune in for the Friday (PDT)/ Saturday (KST) show and I was not disappointed.
An awesome thing about this concert series is that viewers can be introduced to artists that they may have never come across otherwise. This past weekend was the first time I was able to see many of these artists perform. I really enjoyed the soulful sounds of Choi YeGeun and I really loved listening to KAACHI’s catchy music. After listening to KAACHI’s set, I was ready to make a whole new Apple Music playlist featuring some of the music they performed on there. I
