K-Dramas have popularised the idea of gumihos or nine-tailed foxes and given it almost a different dimension of meaning, which is now prevalent in pop culture. At the mention of a gumiho, K-Drama fans will first think of someone how is extraordinarily good-looking, protective, loyal, someone who loves animals and someone who is clever before thinking of the fact that they're also a supernatural being.
